In 2006 the SIG Motorsport Team competed in the “Stars of the Future” Rally Championship, which runs parrell to the British Rally Championship (BRC), the most prestigious in the UK. 6 rallies taking place in Wales, England, Scotland and the Isle of Man. I finished 1st in the MSA Modified 1400 class and it has given me a chance to experience the same events as the drivers who compete at international level.  The events attracted media and TV coverage on satellite channels e.g. SKY SPORTS (advertising sponsor’s logos on the cars.)

 

In 2007 my co-driver (William Kelly) and I hope to do the same or something at national level. However going national has its drawbacks.  That is the costs naturally go up especially when forests are used. It would be a tremendous help if a sponsor could be found to fund/contribute to the biggest cost of all namely the entry fees (normally between £350 and £450 per event).

 

Your company logo would of course be displayed on the car and on clothing etc.

 

On my first gravel event the Coppermines Grizedale Stages Rally in the Lake District, I was featured in an article in the Westmorland Gazette published on the club organiser’s website http://www.grizedalestages.co.uk/.  Though it was only a local paper it was be viewed by many rally fans across the UK.  This is a good example of media coverage
